My story

Originally from Aotearoa (New Zealand), my husband Hemi (Ngati Kahungunu) and I live on the Sunshine Coast with our children.

I began my pottery journey after my gorgeous friend took me along to a hand building class, and I fell in love straight away.

Fast forward to today, I am creating one off pieces for friends and family and slowly growing my business. It has been an amazing journey, one that brings me calmness and joy, and I love seeing the happiness that my pieces bring to everyone else.

I hope you enjoy my pieces also.

My first ceramic pieces I made.

  • The cheese board I made at the hand building class, using stamps and patterned transfer paper which I cut into love hearts.

  • I also made these two little plates in my first hand building class. They did start as slightly bigger plates, however I learnt about clay and shinkage percentages that day and ended up with trinket size plates.
